Still here…

... keeping busy. All is well.

I feel guilty for not blogging, but I'm too tired to blog really blog. So, a few highlights:

Eddie went to visit my family in Illinois with my mom. I joined them after a few days.

Eddie had his eye surgery yesterday. It went fine, for the most part. He still doesn't like waking up from anesthesia.

Really, that's all I've got. Maybe I'll post pictures from the Illinois trip some day soon.

Glad you’re still here !! Don’t beat yourself up for not blogging – my situation is the opposite, i.e., I have the time to blog, but nothing to blog about!

Thanks for the update – just blog when you can. I have time to blog but no children – so who cares! Anyway, pictures would be great.

Welcome to Grateful Grateful. Like most blogs out there, this is just serving as a chronicle of our lives for anyone who may be interested. Sometimes our lives suck, but despite it all, we still have much to be grateful for.

Em is me. I'm the wife and mom who works in internet usability.
Mark is the husband and dad who is a stage actor and musician who also waits tables.
Eddie is the kid, born January 1, 2008. He has a minor genetic condition and PDD-NOS, but despite the frequent doctor and therapist appointments, he's a super cool kid.

The name and the design of this blog are based on one of our favorite books, Grateful: A Song of Giving Thanks by John Bucchino and illustrated by Anna-liisa Hakkarainen.
